Real-time Web-based Home Automation

Conventional home automation solutions often depend on cloud platforms, proprietary mobile apps, or offer only basic ON/OFF control of appliances. These limitations increase complexity, reduce reliability during internet outages, and restrict flexibility when scaling to control multiple devices or adding advanced features like variable fan speed control.

This project presents a standalone, Wi-Fi–enabled home automation system built on the IndusBoard Coin. The board hosts its own interactive web interface, allowing users to control AC appliances directly through a browser—without cloud services or mobile apps. In addition to relay-based switching, the system integrates PWM-based fan speed control, enabling smooth, real-time adjustment of fan speed from the web dashboard.
