Many industries and research applications require real-time monitoring of current and frequency for devices, particularly frequency-sensitive appliances. Existing ammeters and multimeters cannot record or save this data for analysis or machine learning model training, limiting research and monitoring capabilities.
We designed a web app that connects to an ammeter device (via USB or WiFi) to display real-time current and frequency. The system also allows logging and downloading data in CSV or TXT formats for research, analysis, or ML model training.
Key Features
- Real-time current and frequency monitoring using the ACS712 sensor (5A, 20A, 30A variants).
- Web app interface with live graphs, data cards, and Connect/Disconnect functionality.
- Data recording and download in CSV/TXT for research or ML purposes.
- Adjustable calibration, ADC pin selection, and resistor ratio configuration.
- Flexible connectivity: USB via Web Serial API or wireless over WiFi.
Applications
- Monitoring frequency-sensitive industrial appliances.
- Research data logging and AI/ML model training.
- Data visualization for lab or field experiments.
- High-load AC/DC current measurement in diverse settings.
This solution bridges the gap between simple current measurement and advanced real-time monitoring, providing a versatile platform for engineers, researchers, and developers to visualize, record, and analyze electrical data efficiently.
