Traditional agricultural monitoring relies heavily on manual inspection, which is time-consuming, labour-intensive, and unsuitable for large or remote farms. This often leads to inefficient irrigation, delayed responses to changing environmental conditions, wasted water, and reduced crop productivity.
This IoT ThingSpeak Dashboard and Controller project provides a smart agriculture solution using the IndusBoard Coin. By integrating soil moisture sensing, onboard temperature and light monitoring, and relay-based pump control, the system collects real-time environmental data and uploads it to a ThingSpeak dashboard every 15 seconds. Farmers can remotely monitor field conditions and control irrigation from anywhere using ThingSpeak’s web-based tools.
